Dennis Steckelberg, RN, BSN, FCN

It is with great sadness that we share the shocking news of the death on August 10th of Dennis Steckelberg, Parish Nurse at Owatonna UMC,  sec/treas of the Minnesota United Methodist Parish Nurse Association, SE Regional Director of the Health Ministries Network of Minnesota.

Dennis was walking for his "Amazing Pace" program when he died instantly.

Please remember in your thoughts and prayers his family, friends, and colleagues at

St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester as we all grieve the loss of this wonderful man.

Psychological First Aid

the purpose of this training is to equip natural helpers to provide psychological support to survivors of critical events (e.g. disasters, conflicts, accidents, etc.)  This training is 8 hours long and designed to fit into the busy schedules of natural helpers and community responders.  It is divided into seven modules, each addressing critical skills that can make an immedicate lasting impact on a person's psychological health following a crisis.
